Event Details

On 19 August 2026, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announced an integrated package of measures aimed at strengthening Singapore’s position as a leading global asset management hub.

The announced package comprises three measures:

  1. Tax exemption for profit-related returns
  2. New fund co-investment programme
  3. Investment Management Track under the ONE Pass framework

We are delighted to have Anulekha Samant, Partner and Co-Head of Real Estate and Asset Management Tax at KPMG, share her insights on this initiative with our members.

The session will also cover a key tax requirement that many entities in Singapore overlook: the withholding tax treatment on fees paid to non-resident directors of Singapore entities, including VCCs. Tax is required to be withheld at source, with a tax return to be filed with IRAS.

Anulekha will walk attendees through who is in scope, the applicable tax treatment, and the potential fines and penalties for non-compliance.

Webinar link will be sent to you upon successful registration.
